Climate Out
The Initiative
Climate Out seeks to engage our partners in working outside their organizations to facilitate broader climate progress. Myriad organizations are working on climate, but they face obstacles that Climate Hawai‘i is uniquely positioned to help address, thanks in large part to our multi-sector partnership, influence, and collaborative approach. Our goal is to foster an environment in which a wide range of climate initiatives can be successful.
Taking action on climate isn’t just our commitment, it’s our kuleana.
Our Objective
Organizations will advance systemic solutions to climate change through policy advocacy, brave collaboration on “sticky” climate issues, and collective engagement on capital formation efforts. Through multi-sector engagement on climate and resiliency initiatives, we work to leverage our collective political and community influence to advance impactful, systems-level solutions to our climate challenge.
Our Process
Through a collaborative effort we bring together stakeholders with a variety of opinions and perspectives to the table. By embracing the diversity of viewpoints, we aim to foster a constructive dialogue that explores innovative solutions and equitable resolutions to Hawai‘i’s climate-related issues. Engaging in these discussions, not only seeks to shape legislative policy that addresses the immediate challenges posed by climate change but also to lays the groundwork for a sustainable and resilient future for Hawai‘i.
